XBOX 360 or PS3

Hi Guys,
I am lee from India. I love to play games and watch movies. I want Picture Quality, Performance, Best Price. I am very confused between these two. Can anyone tell which is better for me and why?

Well, they're both great systems, and I've had both, and I believe they're both pretty equal. I'll give my own points on 'em and let you decide(Not copy and pasted, entirely my own words).


Xbox 360:

There are 3 types, how cheap or expensive it is goes left to right. The arcade version is one, comes with one wired controller and a regular white coating, no hardrive. Of course it does come with all the cords. The one in the picture above, the Xbox 360 pro. Comes with a wireless headset, one wireless controller with batteries, some more I can't name at the moment, and a 60 bit hard drive. The Elite, a black coating instead of white, comes with everything a pro has except some improved features. A black wireless controller and a 120 bit hard drive. I also hear the more expensive kind of Xbox 360 you buy the better graphics. Has "achievements" you get through doing certain things in the game along with gamerscore points you use to buy in the Xbox live store. The Xbox live ain't free though... and it also comes with one USB port.



PS3: Pretty much similiar to an Xbox 360, except you call "achievements" trophies and you don't get gamerscore points. It also comes with a hard drive and with one controller. Has free online.

The PS3 is roughly £300. It plays blu-rays, 1080p, 1080i and 720p supported games (HD), In racing games it has some motion sensetivity,controllers are £30, games are £12-£50 or higher for games such as guitar hero, 80gb HD, more quiet than an xbox 360.

Xbox 360 is from £130 to £230. Plays HD movies from live marketplace, online costs £38 per year, plays games in HD, arcade has 256mb HD, pro is 60gb, elite is 120gb and super elite is 250gb. controllers are £30, games about the same as ps3 and there are a few games exclusive to xbox 360.

An Xbox if you want a really fun gaming expierience with funner online play but the console breaks often. A PS3 if you want a less fun console with less games but better graphics and hardware. I would go for an Xbox but take some insurance on it.

Buy one according to which friends you would want to play with.

I would go for PS3 if you have a share of friends that play both consoles.

PS3 has better single player story line RPG games, and don't bother listening to imbeciles saying that Xbox live is better than PS network, not true, cost PS network is free and you get the same gaming experience online.

there are well over 200 exclusives for both Ps3 AND Xbox 360 each.
