Hey anyone and everyone that reads this should know that those boys have practically shown the whole web their personal life...I don't think it is exceptable to say things you're not positive about!! For one thing nobody knows wheater they are fake or not. I for one think they're real. Personally I don't think we'll ever find out the truth, but put yourself in their shoes. Would you want to have inveseted hours into making people laugh when all they say are rude and potentially false comments?? The awnser is probably no! Please think before you write another hateful comment anywhere. The fact of the matter is that they didn't have to show everyone halarious videos, but they did, and people should appreciate that!!

Well for one, they are obviously rich, and two, those things aren't that expensive.

At first I thought they were real, but after watching the later ones and doing a little bit more searching around I think the majority of me feels they are fake. Either way they are still fun to watch, but it does take away a little thinking they are staged. For those claiming this couldn't be acted, you are foolish to think so. Anger is one of the easiest emotions to act, especially on the spot. I am assuming most of you who stated that famous actors couldn't act this out, that you yourselves haven't tried it. There's little things that make it look fake such as the extents as to how far it goes at times, not that it's impossible or that it doesn't happen, but it's obvious at times that it's intentionally taken further for the sake of shock and entertainment. Such as how everything is conveniently placed in each video to go along with what's going to happen next, sort of like professional wrestling etc.

I know this is an old thread, but the only reason I would think there was a faked element (aside from the fact that some things seem 'set up' or taken farther than needed for shock as another poster mentioned) is because of what another poster said. the kid destroyed an electric guitar, an industrial-looking microwave, a vacuum, and a christmas tree/presents. the only way to explain away these things would be that the guitar were something old/cheap that their dad didn't really care about, the microwave was going to be junked soon anyway, same with the vacuum. the christmas tree and presents would be a bit more absurd I would think, just because to go through the trouble of purchasing/decorating a christmas tree and then taking the time to individually wrap a bunch of empty boxes... that's a huge amount of time to waste for an internet video. I will say though, Jack didn't seem to have the same reaction I would if I had to watch my brother burn all of my presents, especially wondering what my parents would say when they found out that stephen did it because I had hidden all of HIS presents. that is a situation I would have paid to see the outcome of... if it actually happened.

but as far as the alleged "acting" goes... the best comedians out there laugh at their own jokes in the middle of telling them. comedies with famous, talented actors require hundreds of takes because the actors laugh at each other or the ridiculous situation they're acting. these videos are all one continuous shot, and stephen never once cracks a smile, even though Jack can't help laughing, like the rest of us. it would take an insane amount of dedication and concentration to NOT LAUGH while you were acting and I would imagine multiple "takes."

but anyway, at the end of the day they are really funny if a little unbelievable.

If I can say anything it would go a little something like: " First, I think some people have anger issues that are worse than others. My brother had tantrums like these when we were little, but they were less frequent (but still present.) So it is completely possible for someone to behave like that. Second, I don't blame the family for saying the videos are fakes when they obviously aren't, that S**t is embarrassing, and they are just protecting each other. So props to you guys for being able to exploit what crazy things happen in your household. Lord knows there are millions of families just like you. In my world everyone is crazy. It is just a matter of comparison from one crazy to another!

Yes, he did. He also changed his YouTube home page for a short time, admitting that they were fake. That was recorded by waff1epwn (one instead of L), whom I suspect is either the same as the real wafflepwn or is closely connected. But I have no proof.

If you do want more proof, stalk his MySpace account. Before parts were made private, he admitted how he fooled the world and he occasionally writes about making videos on the public parts.

What I don't get is people who say it must be real because they know someone similar. Well, most comedy is based on real life, so I just don't follow that argument.

As for my travellers cheques, I do understand Leopardvix's comment. I think that he is suggesting that the site is designed to entertain teen audiences (a target) rather than being videos of real life situations.

So if the last two videos are real, there must have been an aftermath to the Christmas video. No one gets away with that. And tearing off a mole seems very unlikely. Stephen may have done it in a wrestling situation but not in a brotherly scuffle. Anyway, Jack, you should still have a scar. Show us before it fades.
